A VIRTUAL EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM
Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel was one of the most remarkable and inspiring figures of the 20th century. He was a mentor to Martin Luther King, Jr., was actively involved in civil rights activism, was a leading champion for Soviet Jews and a pioneer in the work of interfaith dialogue.
In anticipation of a PBS film on his life that is scheduled to debut in May, you are invited to a discussion on the legacy of Rabbi Heschel featuring two experts who appear in the documentary. The film combines archival photographs, rarely seen footage and interviews.
